Middlesex County College proactively seeks to educate it's faculty and staff through its CELT (Center for the Enrichment of Learning and Teaching) program and other outreach activities. Veterans Services staff actively engage faculty and staff at workshops, departmental meetings and college functions in order to ensure a wide breadth of understanding of military/veteran issues on our campus.
Military students called to active service return without penalty policy
Middlesex County College requires a copy of the service members official deployment orders in order to place that service member in an academic hold status. That hold will remain on their account until the service member returns from deployment.

Policy concerning students who are involuntarily activated for military service
Reservist military students who are involuntarily activated for military service will be given the same consideration as all other service members at Middlesex County College. We will comply with ESGR (Employer Support of Guard and Reserve) directives in holding a reservists academic status while deployed. No penalties are imposed for military service.
