Policy on the transfer of creditsCalifornia University of PA will accept up to 90 credits for transfer. Transfer credit is typically awarded following an extensive review of official military transcripts and all previous university transcripts attended by the student. Credits are primarily awarded to fulfill general education requirements. Transfer of military credit for experience and training is completed by the University's Office of Veteran's Affairs and the Office of Articulation and Transfer.

Programs to support faculty in terms of their knowledge and understandingEach year the Office of Veteran's Affairs hosts a "New Veteran Orientation" to welcome Veteran's to campus and also to meet the Faculty, Staff and Administrators on campus. Training throughout the year is provided for various offices on campus to ensure a common understanding of Veteran's issues and benefits. Faculty teaching within our webbased programs are encouraged to direct students to the Office of Web-based Programs and/or the Office of Veteran's Affairs.
Student Veteran AssociationsAffiliations with Student Veterans of America, Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans of America and the California University of Pennsylvania Veteran's Club.
Additionally, we have local affiliations with several Veterans Service Organizations in the surrounding communities as well as scholarship partnerships.
Policy concerning students who are involuntarily activated for military serviceAll students who are deployed or called to active duty while enrolled at California University of Pennsylvania are afforded the choice to either completely withdraw or take incompletes. If a student withdraws, they are refunded the entire amount of tuition & fees. Should the student elect to take an incomplete, they will have up to one year at California University of Pennsylvania to complete the incomplete.
