About Wheeling Jesuit University
Founded in 1954, Wheeling Jesuit University, the youngest of the nation's 28 Jesuit institutions of higher education, is the only Catholic University in West Virginia. It is committed to its mission to educate students for life, leadership, and service with and among others. Wheeling Jesuit is a principally undergraduate, Master's S institution that offers 32 undergraduate majors and enrolls graduate students in the areas of accounting, business administration, leadership, nursing, and physical therapy. Wheeling Jesuit has approximately 1,100 undergraduate students from 28 states and 16 foreign countries. The average class size is 15, and the student: faculty ratio is 11:1.
