Why this school is an excellent choice for military membersThe School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences (EPPS), has differentiated itself by launching a Veterans Outreach Program to assist new and current veterans in the social sciences and hopefully a resource for every veteran at UTD. The program includes an online portal of helpful dates and deadlines, resource links, a blog and site where veterans can connect with each other. We are marketing our degrees directly to 5000 veterans in the Dallas area and through the Vet2Vet program we know they can be successful at UTD and in EPPS. UTD is a medium sized school which allows our full time Veteran’s Affairs Services Officer the time to review benefit details with individuals at length and ease the process. The School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences offers many degrees that are complementary to the skills many veterans receive while on duty and place them right on track to continue in the Public Management Arena. Completing a Public Affairs, Criminology, Sociology, or Political Science degree will enable students to manage the public successfully.
