Why this school is an excellent choice for military membersVolunteer State Community College campus and teaching locations are within easy access of many active duty, reserve, and National Guard members of the armed forces living in the north middle Tennessee area. Many of our programs are transferrable to skills needed in military service and for careers after the military. We offer multiple forms of financial aid to reduce the cost of college attendance. Our Vol State Student Veterans of America create an atmosphere of camaraderie for military members, veterans and dependents. They also network with other internal and external agencies to find assistance for those members in need.
