Temple University is a national center of excellence in teaching and research with an international presence. Our talented faculty and broad curriculum of academic programs provide superior educational opportunities for academically talented and highly motivated students, without regard to their status or station in life. The college offers 320 degree programs, 2 associate, 134 bachelor, 121 master, 56 doctoral and 7 professional, including dentistry, health professions, law, medicine, pharmacy and podiatric medicine. Temple have six Pennsylvania campuses options from which to choose, Ambler, Center City, Fort Washington, Harrisburg, Health Sciences Center and Main Campus, plus international campuses in Japan and Rome, and active undergraduate and graduate study abroad partnership programs in 30 countries. Temple's richly diverse student population and the dramatic growth of our residential campus community of student scholars enrich the educational and extracurricular life of our people.

Programs to support faculty in terms of their knowledge and understandingWe have a university veterans task force committee comprised with administration and staff from all the key student services departments, such as registrar, veteran affairs, admissions, financial aid, bursar, student life, enrollment management, academic affairs provost office, continuing studies, housing, counseling center, disability services, ROTC program, that provide direct services to our veteran students. Our 700 Temple faculty and staff have or are actively serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Jobs Magazine, Temple University encourages applications from veterans of the United States Military and enlisted service members who want to begin or continue a college education. We offer guidance and support with admissions and financial aid processes, as well as academic and other support services. Temple has an active Army ROTC program, ongoing relationships with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps and maintains an extensive dual admissions and academic program agreements with community colleges. The University has a Veterans Task Force composed of all major student service offices to ensure a smooth transition from military to college life.
