About La Salle University

Founded in 1863 by the De La Salle Christian Brothers, La Salle University is a Catholic, independent, coeducational institution with a 133-acre main campus in Northwest Philadelphia and satellite locations in Bucks and Montgomery counties. With approximately 6,500 students, the University offers undergraduate concentrations in more than 40 academic areas within its three schools: Arts and Sciences, Business, and Nursing and Health Sciences, as well as its College of Professional and Continuing Studies, which specializes in serving adult learners. La Salle also offers 24 graduate programs, 51 certificate programs, and three doctoral programs in Clinical Psychology, Nursing Practice, and Theology.
