We will accept credit from SMART transcripts based on the ACE credit recommendation. We accept college level credit from regionally accredited institutions. Vocational/Technical course work is limited to 24 quarter credits (16 semester credits). Students must have a minimum of 36 quarter credits (24 semester credits) with at least half of those credit hours from regular academic credits.

Why this school is an excellent choice for military members
Southern Oregon University honors, celebrates and supports our veterans. We have a designated study area and lounge specifically for veteran students. We host two Veteran Receptions that are extremely well attended. This past year we were joined by Congressman Greg Walden for our Veteran's Day Reception. There are regular Veteran support groups through our counseling department. We continue to look at ways to support our veterans and create awareness with faculty and staff to acknowledge the needs of this population.
