Policy concerning students who are involuntarily activated for military service
When presented with proper mobilization orders, Hocking College will make every effort to ensure that military members can complete their courses. In the event that it is not possible to complete courses, a grade of "PR" will be granted to indicate that the final grade is in PRogress. Military members will not be reimbursed for the quarter from which they withdraw, but will receive a semester of credit upon their return.
Why this school is an excellent choice for military members
Hocking College provides arguably the most academic credit for military and civilian experience. Military members are put on a degree path that is the shortest available. No limits on CLEP or DSST other than the 15 hour residency requirement. There are articulation agreements in place that allow military members to continue their education on the smoothest and most efficient path. All military members are charged in-state tuition regardless of their state of residency.
