Military students called to active service return without penalty policyAs a military friendly school Medaille College has established a withdrawal policy for students called to active duty. If you are called to active duty as a result of the events of September 11th, 2001, Operation Iraqi Freedom or Operation Enduring Freedom Afghanistan or any other call to active duty, you are encouraged to withdraw from all Medaille College courses. Medaille's military withdrawal policy allows you to do so without penalty. And if you cannot arrange to stay enrolled online while you are gone, you don't have to worry about readmission. If you have not taken classes elsewhere you have up to 24 months to re-enroll in classes without having to reapply. That means you can enroll online even while you are deployed.

Military Servicemember's Withdrawal and Leave of Absence Process
Students called to active duty are encouraged to withdraw from all Medaille College courses. This decision should be made in consultation with the Advisor/Program Chair, Veterans' Liaison and Student Services/Registrar representatives. Departmental judgment may be exercised to allow for completion of at least one course at the time of departure.
Step 1
Student should present official military orders at time of initiating contact with Student Services/Registrar's Office to formally withdraw or take a leave of absence from Medaille College. The school will refund 100% of the instructional fees paid by the student for courses they cannot complete. Refunds will only be
Why this school is an excellent choice for military membersMedaille College prides itself on providing veterans and service members with the quality service they earned and deserve. For this reason, we have established the office of Veterans and Military Affairs as a permanent department within the school. In addition, in an effort to recognize the sacrifice that veterans and service members have made for our country, we award a $10,000 scholarship to all honorably discharged veterans.
