Why this school is an excellent choice for military members
A member of the Service members Opportunity College (SOC), SIUE works with the Department of Defense and military services to meet the education needs of service members. The University appreciates the service and sacrifice that veterans have selflessly given to the citizens of our state and nation. Veterans enrolled at SIUE have access to a wealth of services, including Disability Support Services, Counseling and Health Services and academic support. SIUE’s Cougar Veterans Association acts as a sounding board on issues, as well as a support network for veteran-students. The organization has a site that lists services, benefits and contacts: siue.edu/veterans/.
