Why this school is an excellent choice for military members
Boise State University was a veteran friendly university before it was popular. This is due to our local area having two military installations: Mountain Home AFB and the Gowen Field Guard/Reserve Installation. An abundance of BSU veteran students come from these two bases. Our veteran population has continued to show growth, especially since the passage of the Post 9-11 GI-Bill. Since then we have established the BSU Veterans Center and the VA VetSuccess and Wyakin Warrior programs, which have enhanced veteran services. These additions to the Center make BSU an excellent choice for veterans.
