No administrative fees will be incurred for schedule adjustments. If students are unable to take care of business prior to leaving the university, refunds will be given upon return from compulsory service. Continuing students must submit to the Office of the Registrar proof of compulsory service that prohibits them from attending SDSU prior to departure (preferred) or within 12 months after being released from compulsory duties. Reservists must show proof by showing activation orders; active duty military must provide a letter from a commanding officer.

Why this school is an excellent choice for military membersSDSU is considered one of the most veteran friendly schools in the nation because of top down administrative support, a robust student veteran organization, a center that offers a myriad of vet services, including lounge space ("The Bunker"), the first Veterans Housing in the nation, and a full-time VA VetSuccess Counselor. We also offer vet scholarships, a transition course, and internships. SDSU strives to maintain a "veteran-friendly" campus through programs, support and appreciation.
