Military students called to active service return without penalty policy
Absolutely. Do to our size and the tight-knit nature of our community along with carefully thought out policies, we allow students to take leaves of absence for deployment and return without penalty.

Student Veteran Associations
We are rapidly developing a veterans outreach and support program at Lyon, allocating facilities, arranging visits with the local National Guard Armory, providing for mobile veteran health unit to visit the College regularly to serve veterans in our college and civic communities.

Policy concerning students who are involuntarily activated for military service
Such students are allowed a leave of absence, their return without re-application being guaranteed. Students on leave will retain their College-supported financial aid and select hosing, and register at the same time as currently enrolled students.
