Why this school is an excellent choice for military membersSouth Mountain Community College has a history of providing education and training to veterans, active duty servicemembers, and their families who are seeking to earn a certificate or degree, gain new skills, enhance existing skills, and translate skills learned in the military for use in the civilian world. We believe that it is a privilege to have United States veterans, active servicemembers, and their families among our student population. We embrace the diversity of our veterans and profoundly value the strength and unique character this diversity has contributed to the college and the great communities we serve.
